Many of our subscribers have been asking us to write about the Mamaearth IPO for a while now. And while we could have done that, we had a better idea. We wanted to talk about something beyond just the valuation. Beyond the obvious issues with the meagre profits. We wanted to actually explore Mamaearth - the company and the draft prospectus to see what's truly going on here. And we wanted to do it in a slightly different format. Experiment with something that we haven't done in a long long time.
So in this week's Finshots Markets (just this once) we aren't going to write a story. Instead, we will tell the story on YouTube. And unlike our crisp stories, this is a long explainer and an introduction to our latest foray into the video format.
